Il Berneto is an all purpose holiday villa with a swimming pool on the border of Tuscany and Umbria: the ideal choice for your perfect holiday in the Italian countryside.
The villa sits about 500 meters above sea level in 300 acres of flowered fields, olive groves with woodlands that have stunning views of the Umbrian hills. It is built entirely of local stones and was formerly a farmhouse that was erected on the ruins of the ancient "Castel Brandetto", built in 1000 AD: the original walls of the castle can still be seen in the back of the house.
Exquisitely furnished, Il Berneto combines the typical Umbrian ambience of wood beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and stylish décor with modern amenities: the villa is air conditioned, heated and has internet access. Some walls show the original stone.
In 2008 it was renovated. During the restoration, it was our goal to make the villa luxurious, providing every comfort for the modern vacationer, while maintaining the charm and warmth of an elegant home in the country. The villa enjoys impeccable quality while embracing the charm and warmth of the Italian lifestyle. The spaciousness of this home allows for a comfortable stay for one or for many.

The rental rate is for the whole of the houses, no matter of the number of persons staying:the house may not be used by more persons than 20 persons. No parties on the premises or external caterers unless by special arrangement with the management. Non-refundable payment of 30% of total cost is due upon reservation, balance due 2 months before stay. In the event of booking cancellation 30 days before rental period, 50 % will be reimbursed. In the event of booking cancellation 29 to 10 days before rental period, 20% will be reimbursed. In the event of booking cancellation 9 days before rental period there will be no reimbursement. |
