Group Rates for Both Places.  Nestled on the mountain side of The San Juan River Village, this lovely mountain home has a secluded setting and a magnificent panoramic view of the San Juan Mountains. It is located a convenient 7 miles East of Pagosa Springs, Colorado and 50 min. east of Durango. It is just 20 minutes from the Wolf Creek Ski Area, which boasts the best ski powder in the State of Colorado and 10 minutes from the famous Pagosa Hots Springs with outdoor pools that cascade down the hill to the river. Several of the pools are actually in the river!  Nearby Activities: The cabin features a large front deck for the favorite activity of relaxing and enjoying the breathtaking view. In the winter, you can cross country ski out your front door as well as downhill ski, snowmobile, take a sleigh ride or sled nearby. In the summer you will enjoy fishing with private access to the San Juan River and two trout ponds within the San Juan River Village. You can take a hike in the 3 million acres of the surrounding San Juan National Forest (we have access) or bike, horseback ride, river raft, visit gold mines, famous western towns, or explore Anazasi indian ruins. The famous Pagosa Hot Springs is a treat any time of year.  The two-story cabin has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The downstairs bedroom features a queen bed and it's own full bath.Upstairs is the master suite with a queen bed, satellite TV and a private deck with beautiful views. There is a full bath upstairs between the master and the second bedroom which has 2 twin beds. The entire cabin has recently been redecorated in an attractive Western motif with lot's of wood, denim, red and "Old West" accents. There is a full kitchen with a dishwasher and everything you need for home cooked meals. A laundry room is adjacent to the kitchen. The living room features an extra long sofa, comfy chairs, a gas log fireplace, satellite TV with movie and sports chanels and DVD and we have NEW STARLYNKS wireless internet. There is a large back yard where the deer visit often, propane BBQ and detached 2 car garage.  The studio apartment is located over the two car garage and sleeps two, in a comfortable full size sofa bed. It has a shower, 3/4 bath and a fully stocked kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, crockpot, grill and cooktop. The view of the continental divide is spectacular! You have a private entrance to the backyard and use of the charcoal BBQ. If you are a large group, reserve both places and we will discount the price!

My family loved hiking, fishing and exploring the Rockies and our favorite place in the State for scenery, and wildlife was the Pagosa Springs area. Our Serendipity home is our little piece of heaven for our family and friends. House was amazing worked perfect for us. Lots of family time on the front deck. Would definitely rent again!
We felt so comfortable and so at home. We played in the snow, hiked and visited the hot springs. We couldn't ave ask for a better location.
I just wanted to thank you. The house was amazing and it worked out so much better than individual hotel rooms. I have to say that was the best stocked kitchen we've ever used. Family style breakfasts and dinners were amazing. We used the crock pot to slow cook a brisket stew and it was so yummy after a day on the slopes. Thank you again!
Our family, which includes three daughters, their husbands and grandchildren stayed here for our Family annual Snowmobile Trip. It was great. My husband and I stayed above the garage and it was so nice and quiet. Now we want to come back in the summer months too, for hiking. Next time a few of us will probably go skiing on Wolf Creek Pass too. It's so relaxing and everything is set up so nice and clean in the house. Colleen is wonderful to talk to and makes everything so easy! Thank you so much! We have also stayed at the alpine Haven with the Hot Tub and it is wonderful too! It just wasn't big enough for all we had going up this time. It is big enough for 3 couples and 4 smaller children. Very nice rooms and kitchen also!
The cabin was exactly as described and was very well maintained. It was a little further than we would have liked from our hunting area but the drive was worth it. I would highly recommend! All the amenities of home.
