There was more room then I thought there would have been. My daughter had a great time looking forward to going back soon.
We were looking for an economical way to get away for the week for the Christmas holiday and wanted to take along our dog and cat. After reading the reviews, we decided to give this place a try. It was perfect for our needs. It is small, but there was enough room for us as well as our large dog and declawed adult cat. We especially like the location. It is close to the beach, but is quiet - not in the middle of everything. Yet, we were able to walk to the pier and restaurants. It has a fenced in yard so the dog could walk around off leash. There is also a fire pit and 3 grills. Julie, the onsite property manager is awesome - she greeted us and showed us around to everything and told us to contact her with any questions or concerns. We look forward to staying here again!

We arrived on time, but had a little trouble checking in. Somehow I did not have the arrival email, then the code on the entrance lock was not set for us. But we found the property manager easily and all was straightened out. The room (#16 at the back of the property) was very neat, pretty and in perfect order and we moved in for three enjoyable nights. Our sweet little cat (an experienced traveler) adjusted well, and quickly found she could sit on the window sill and watch the small dogs in the side yard. Fascinating!! The property is two blocks from the beach, easy to find and close to everything you might need. The small kitchen worked great. Photos of the room do not show the nice dining table with 4 chairs by the windows. Lots of drawers, a nice closet, beautifully tiled bath with shower. Even a vending machine in the hall with drinks etc at very reasonable prices. We would recommend it to anyone, but it might be a bit crowded for more than two people.
This is the second time we have stayed at this property and both times we had really amazing experiences. Both times, we were greeted upon arrival by the property manager and she was very helpful and made us instantly feel good about our choice. The unit is exactly what we need and was clean. They are dog friendly with a small pet fee which we appreciated. They even have a little fenced in area where you can let your dog off the leash. The hibiscuses and fruit plants were so pretty around the property. The beach is a quick walk and that was AMAZING! My huband, my dog, and I will be staying here again next time!
The unit is in a great location, walking distance to restaurants, beach, shops. It had everything we needed, was very clean and great fit for us and our dog. Will return again in the future!
The location is fantastic! #9 is cute, cute, cute! The garden and pool area are very beautiful and tranquil! Very zen out there! JULIE....OH JULIE, I don\'t even know what to say....she was an absolute delight! Such a sweetheart...anything we needed...she was on it! Just a few quirks...nothing big. Parking is a pain but do able. The shower...would not have been a big deal if it was just me and the hubs but i had my 4 yr old so thought i should throw this out there...the knobs for hot and cold kinda spin freely so you have to figure out what a good ratio is and where off for each is. This was only a problem because the water is scorching hot and the shower is tiny so theres no place to run from it...other than those 2 little things, if we dont move to galveston, we will definitely book with these guys again the next time we go there! Thank yall so much!
