Janey and I love Mexico and love the beach on the Caribbean. We purchased Vista Dulce because we wanted a place that was HOME and not a rental property. We keep it better than we do our home in Denver. You will find it like home and want to stay.
This is a great property in a great location. We went as a family of five and it was a perfect amount of space for each contingent. 3 bedrooms with 3 full baths, meant that my son and two daughters didn't have to fight over showers or other bathroom needs. There is even a half bath by the entrance in case guests are over. There is a balcony that runs the length of the condo and provides a perfect view of the azure waters of the Caribbean. There is a balcony on the front side of the building that gives you a view of the jungle and more importantly can provide a great cross breeze if you want to go without air-conditioning. There is a full sized grill on that deck as well. Ruby shows up everyday to clean the whole condo and is a delight as well. A doorman is on constant vigil 24/7 though Cozumel seems very safe. This building is one of the few on the strip north of the city that has it's own strip of beach as well as a long concrete pier, most of the others are rocky who's entrance into the water are inhospitable. The locals love this little beach and you can watch them live out their recreation. Fishermen populate the pier starting at 6am and are always a pleasure to watch off the deck as well as the pelicans who dive into the water. Our kids watched a little Netflix but other than that we didn't really use the TVs. Volp phones worked great to contact the US and the internet was flawless. The only issues we had during our vacation had nothing to do with Vista Dulce. Car rental was a challenge as Avis gave away our car before arrival. We managed to get a car through a local company and the rest of the trip went off without a hitch. Urge anyone reading this to spend a day at Punta Sur on Anemona Beach, a day on a boat to El Cielo and Cielito and a day on the eastern side. There are some good restaurants in town and most of them are covered in the well detailed guestbook provided with the condo. We got our first meal cooked for us by Sandra's team. Excellent meal and if your committed to the full meal plan fairly reasonable.
Ledge and Fulvio far exceeded our expectations for hospitality/. Their place was wonderful and their suggestions of what we could do were very helpful. But for the most part we just chose to stay at this place and relax and enjoy our stay. Wonderful vacation and the luxury and privacy and seclusion of this place is unique/ compared to what we saw when we went out and about. We didn't want to be in the midst of the excitement nor desired to do something all the time. The place was absolutely refreshing and delightful.
We (3 young adults) had a great time in Cozumel. From lounging at beach to snorkeling with starfish to nightlife / dancing, Cozumel has it all - and this condo is the perfect base of operations. Everything was as advertised.
We had booked our 4 week stay prior to the Covid pandemic. After much debate we decided we would continue with our plans. We were told the island took Covid seriously so we decided to make the trip. As our first flight was changed many times we had to take a van from Cancun to Playa Del Carmen. We asked Fulvio, the rental agent, for a recommendation for a driver which he supplied. Cold drinks were waiting for us upon arrival at Vista Dulce which was greatly appreciated. The condo is on a small public beach area which was generally very quiet during our stay. It does get busier on weekends tho. It was nice to see the pride the locals and the owners of the locals and the owners of the condo have for the area. Any ocean litter deposited overnight was picked by beach users and condo owners. The condo is lovely and the bedrooms are spacious. The bedrooms have lots of storage for your clothing. The living room is roomy with plenty of sitting space. The dining room is a nice size and there is a good sized kitchen but no dishwasher. The kitchen had lots of spices, coffees, and teas. The kitchen was also well equipped. There was an issue with the sliding door and it was taken care of quickly.
We stayed for 19 days and have plans to come back. Very clean with excellent housekeeping. Facility and building / grounds are very well maintained. Large condo with lots of space. Owner and manager were very responsive throughout out our stay. We highly recommend! Our family had a great time!
Beautiful view. Ruby, the maid, was the best. She made delicious empanadas for us and kept the condo clean. Would stay there again.
The pictures on line are pretty true. The beach has more Rock then expected but we made the very best of our vacation. On this side of the island, north hotels all have sand and rock beaches.
This was the 3rd time we stayed at this property and as usual the property is located in an ideal location and clean.
The condo was amazing. It had everything we needed. The view, stunning!!!! Close to town for restaurants and shopping. If you go to Mega, take shopping bags with you. The pool was refreshing. The Tequilla bar next door, the shrimp cocktail was delicious. I don’t think I would even consider another place to stay when I visit again. I will definitely be back. Thank you.
What a delightful stay! The location was lovely, quiet and away from the crowds at the port. Fantastic sunsets on the large balcony. The condo had everything we could have possibly needed. Well appointed, beds comfortable and housekeeper did a great job of keeping it clean. Property manager was very responsive when we had questions. I highly recommend the chef service. We opted for 3 days of service and it was incredible! Meals were delicious and they left the kitchen pristine. Would absolutely recommend this rental!
