Machair House vacation rental is a great base from which to explore Tiree and all it has to offer. This lovely holiday rental house is a detached house with a small garden, situated in Cornaig on the north side of the island. A short stroll across the dunes from this travel house rental, you will find the spectacular and often deserted Cornaig Bay and just along the road is Loch Bhasapol, where Tiree's watersport school is based. This charming holiday travel house rental is heated by a combination of convection and storage heaters. There are additional electric heaters for use if required, as well as the coal fire in the living and dining rooms. Please note that coal is not provided as part of the rental, but there is information about where to purchase coal at the house. Hot water is provided by an immersion heater, but the coal fire in the dining room is an alternative way of heating the water. Electricity is paid for with a token meter. Average weekly electricity cost is around £15-20 in summer and around £25-30 in winter depending on your electricity usage.
