I was born in 1951 and my wife and I have 3 children, all in their 20s. I grew up on Long Island and moved to the Philadelphia area in 1990. I currently live about a mile from Villanova University in Rosemont Pa. I graduated from Georgetown University and my wife graduated from Drexel. This property was purchased by us to help provide for retirement income. We are Superhosts on Airbnb, Premier Partner on VRBO and have Certificates of Excellence from Trip Advisor.
We loved the house, it was clean and very cozy and we had a great weekend. the communication with the owner of the house was excellent he is very helpful and polite thank you Barry! we will definitely be back soon !!!!
The property was great! The owner was very responsive to any requests. Although it’s walkable to the lake, we drove their because of lack in sidewalks. The lake/pool area was great. Lots of water activities available on site. I highly recommend this property!
Beds were comfy. Nice location with tennis courts and picnic pavilion direcrly out the back deck. Utilized the beach club access with the pool lake games .
The place was lovely and Barry was amazing! My family had a really good time :)
I was looking for a place for a mini family vacation, but was wary about this house due to it not having many reviews. After I contact the owner, Barry, he advised me that this house is a new listing and that he has other properties with from over 50 to over 90 five star reviews, and he sent me those links. That was enough to convince me to rent and I am very glad that I did. The house was perfect for my family, and we had a wonderful time. Kids were able to ski when not inside playing foosball. Jacuzzi hot tub was a real in that at home we only have a shower. In the evenings we enjoyed playing board games and watching Netflix on the large flat screen smart tv. All in all a pretty perfect time. Highly recommended.
My wife and I got married a few months ago but did not have time to go on an international honeymoon. So we decided we would take a mini vacation with a few couples to relax and enjoy the outdoors, which we all love to do. This house was perfect. The living room and loft area both have comfy new couches, foosball (so awesome) and a large flat screen TV. What more can you ask for?: wine, cheese, good company, great food, interesting conversation and a spacious comfortable house. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us. We took some long walks, hiked in the nearby parks, and spent the evening at a local watering hole. It ended up being a perfect honeymoon. The owner Barry was professional, courteous and a pleasure to work with. He even bought us a bottle of champagne which was a nice touch. We hope to return sometime.
Bunch of guys in their 40s and 50s needed to get away from it all (and our wives) for a couple of days. Found this new listing and could not have been happier. We all hung out in the very comfortable house, played foosball, used the jacuzzi tubs, grilled on the porch right outside with beautiful views all around. It was so amazing a few of us even said we might come back and bring our wives. Ha ha. They were voted down. We want to keep this place for ourselves. Hope to make it an annual trip. Maybe even semi-annual. If you need a place to get away from it all, but still be near civilization and things to do, this is the place to go.
Even though it rained we all had a fantastic time staying at this townhouse - the foosball table was especially helpful, as were all the new flat screen tvs (especially the one in the loft with the foosball table). It had all the comforts of home! The close by waterpark was great for the kids. I would recommend this as a great place to stay. There is so much to do even if it rains! Thank you to Barry, the very helpful owner, who went out of his way to provide us with his tips and expertise on the area. We hope to return in the summer.
The Poconos are so vibrant this time of year, with the leaves in full fall colors, the weather a little cooler and the pace a bit slower. The accommodations were perfect for our group with a fully stocked kitchen including both a Kerig and drip coffee maker. There was even an electric pancake skillet which made our children very happy! There was plenty of room out back for the kids to run to their hearts content. The beds were also very comfortable!
So much to do in the area, we had a difficult time narrowing it down, from hiking to shopping at the outlets! We had a terrific time in this well laid out town home. We were thrilled to be able to grill out on the back deck with a great view of the expansive back yard area, equipped with covered picnic pavilion. Highly recommend this home!
