The Casa Grande is a beachfront house in the center of Soliman Bay, Tulum, Mexico. It is a lovely beach home with a split-level first floor and an open palapa roof that is 2 1/2 stories high.
On the first floor, a king-size bedroom with 1/2 bath; large open space living-dining-kitchen area with large wooden table seating 6-10; and full bathroom with shower. The kitchen is equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker/grinder, blender, all amenities. Drinking water is provided. Crib and highchair available upon request. The Welcome Book in the Casa Grande will provide you with information about the house and the area, please take time to read through it.
In the loft are two queen bedrooms and a small sitting area with futon and DVD player (no TV service, but a large library of DVDs), reading library, board and card games. The upstairs bedrooms are separated by a full bath with shower. A desk area for your computer and wifi internet is in the foyer area upstairs. There is wireless internet throughout the property. It is recommended you contact our phone provider for info on international calls with your US cell phone.
In the front of the Casa Grande, the overhanging palapa porch provides shade for an outdoor table, chairs, and large hammock. There is an outside grill with piped water, gas and lights. Swimming, snorkeling and kayaking are just 20 feet out to the beach; there are 2 large palapas with beach chairs and hammocks for a day on the bay! There are 2 double kayaks and 2 single kayaks as well as life vests and snorkel vests for your use.
BRING YOUR OWN SNORKEL GEAR. There is a natural ocean “pool” in front of TE, waist deep, sandy bottom, perfect for a day of swimming, snorkeling (and learning), sunning or just relaxing. Coffee or tea on the beach at sunrise . . . a daily delight!
Combine with the Casita Guest House for your entire family reunion, max 10 people and 1 child on the futon with the rental of both houses. The Casita can rent separately for either 2 or 4 people year round except for Christmas and New Year’s. Those holiday weeks both houses book together.
