Florida is lined with a variety of waterfront vacation housing options, whether you need a pool villa, cottage, large house or beachfront condo. With miles of sand along the Florida Keys, Florida’s Atlantic coast, Emerald Coast - Gulf of Mexico and Choctawatchee Bay, visitors to the state might find it hard to narrow down their choices of waterfront lodging. Prices for waterfront rentals vary widely, with the summer months and holidays demanding the highest rates per night or week. Longer-term rentals of two weeks to a month or more can save you money on the per-night rate.

STEP 1
Search vacation rentals, cottages, bed and breakfasts and more, with a small wave icon indicating which properties are waterfront.

STEP 2
Contact a property owner/manager who offers vacation rentals. These agents can send you a list of available beachfront properties for your travel dates and usually have a search function on our websites to help you find a property. They will also be able to send or email you property photos and give you tips on vacationing in the area.

STEP 3
Many waterfront listings will indicate "Gulf Front" or "Beach Front" in the title and provide pictures of the property. User reviews, prices, owner contact information and dates available for rental can help you narrow down your choices.

STEP 4
Book a beachfront condo, villa or house with a property owner/manager directly specializing in vacation rentals.
