ABOUT VACATION RENTALS IN LINCOLN CITY
Evergreen forests, broad sandy beaches, clean air, the magnificent Pacific Ocean and a lake at its back door - Lincoln City has it all. Lincoln City is blessed with seven miles of beaches. There are some wide expanses of sand, others are nestled in coves and surrounded by high cliffs.

Lincoln City has a temperate year-round climate. A day in Lincoln City can include hiking, beachcombing, kayaking, canoeing, whale watching, surfing, sun bathing, fishing, golf, or taking a drive and enjoying the amazing scenery. Visitors to Lincoln City are spoilt for choice. Spread out along miles of scenic sandy beaches, the other side of town drops down to Devil's Lake, frequented in warmer months by skiiers, paddleboats, and windsurfers. Six miles north of town, the Salmon River flows into the Pacific, a great spot for kayaking and fishing.

For those who would rather see water than ride it, Drift Creek Falls trail, just out of town, offers a moderate hike but highly rewarding views of a cataract. For a more strenuous climb, head north of town to Cascade Head where viewpoints above the trees offer unrivalled vistas of the Oregon Coast. A short way down the coast, fishing boats navigate out of the world's smallest harbor in Depoe Bay.

Lincoln City is known as the 'Kite Capital of the World'. Winds that pick up during the day blow off the fog and provide ideal conditions for flying kites. The beaches here are popular spots for testing your skills in kite flying. In winter, mild temperatures make beach-wandering pleasant and spectacular winter storms provide unparalleled entertainment. Between storms, surfers can ride the waves at spots south and north of Lincoln City.
