ABOUT VACATION RENTALS IN CORONADO
Get lured to Coronado. It's the perfect place to experience a southern California vacation where the Pacific sun shines above you and the Victorian heritage surrounds you. Coronado is located across the bay from San Diego. Coronado is filled with Victorian homes and beach cottages and also has a strong military presence. Coronado is the stomping ground of the Navy SEALs, who train here at the Naval Amphibious Base.

The main attraction of Coronado is the Hotel del Coronado. Celebrities and politicians have witnessed the splendor of this Victorian manor, including 10 U.S. Presidents. You can enjoy a sunbath on Coronado's beaches. Coronado Central Beach, which stretches for around 2 miles and provides great views of the Victorian homes on Ocean Boulevard, is Coronado's main beach. Early in the day, Navy SEALs use the beach for their morning runs. Then it's the turn of artists to come out of the woodwork creating elaborate sand castles. Body surfers and boogies boarders also head to Coronado's main beach. The Glorietta Bay Beach is a more solitary beach, with a grassy park and a playground for kids.

Traveling across the Coronado/San Diego bridge will take you to the beautiful Balboa Park which is the cultural heart of the city. Coronado is also a golfing haven, with more than 70 courses located in San Diego. The Municipal Golf Course is a spectacular loop overlooking the San Diego Bay. Coronado also has bicycling trails of over 15 miles that meander over the island. Coronado therefore offers a “car optional” and healthy environment.
